A 1-day course where participants learn how to properly set up and sharpen a Japanese Chisel. Suits beginner to advanced students. This class comes with the option to purchase a Japanese-style chisel as part of the class.

Kanna: Japanese plane setting (coming very soon)

Learn how to set up a Japanese hand plane in this 1-day class. We offer an option for students to purchase a new hand plane through Koitoya as part of this class or bring in their own kanna.

Arizan: sliding dovetail: Japanese traditional Joinery (coming very soon)

1-day masterclass in sliding dovetail joinery including jig making and router techniques.

Osaka-Jo Otemon Tsugi-Te: Japanese traditional Joinery

This 4-hour class is an extension of our workshop series. This unique class will cover the wide range of table saw operation, basics about Jointer outfeed table setting and thicknesser roller settings. All that is basic but can’t get anywhere else.
