At KOITOYA we take on a wide range of projects for installation in domestic, public and commercial spaces. These include solid timber entry doors, internal partition doors, framing, and built-in cabinets and shelving.
We are specialists in making and framing of koshi and shoji style Japanese sliding doors.
Sliding Shoji screen doors with acrylic ‘paper’. These doors were installed against fixed windows in a new build to provide privacy and diffuse light.
Sliding ‘koshi’ doors in recycled oregon timber. These doors are used to create flexible living spaces. In this renovation they provide an open-plan feel and are used to manage heat flow in the fluctuating Canberra climate.
Our sliding shoji doors can be made with a traditional or a contemporary aesthetic. We can produce doors to suit slider cavities, timber floor runners or overhead hanging systems.
